About Me
Behind the Words
For most of my childhood and teenage years, I worked hard to try and become a Forensic Pathologist. I consumed TV series, any related movies and all the books about Forensic Scientists and Crime Solving.
It wasn't until I was volunteering one summer in New Orleans, rebuilding homes that had been devastated by Hurricane Katrina, and speaking to those whose homes we were creating, that I realised - it wasn't the science I was in love with, but instead the stories themselves. I wanted to tell people's stories, and create my own. I've been writing ever since.

I look at the world through a writer’s lens. I see stories in everyday life just waiting to be told and do my best to be the medium through which they reach the page. From fiction, to travel writing; opinion pieces and blogs, articles and social media content, I will always find the best way to tell the story.
